Privacy Policy
Effective 26 July 2026. This policy covers DeepShell for Chrome, published by o10.io (owned by Towards AGI). This launch does not include a desktop application.

Summary (plain English)
- DeepShell works with the browser context you select. Selected content may be sent to model providers to answer your request.
- Account and inference routing run through your o10.io account.
- The Chrome extension only accesses what you grant it; we do not sell personal data.

What DeepShell products do
Chrome extension: a browser companion for DeepShell / o10.io. It may help you start tasks, open DeepShell flows, or connect browser context you explicitly allow. It is not a silent scraper of your browsing history.
Data we may process
Depending on the product and your choices:
- Account data: email and authentication details for your o10.io account.
- Task / prompt content: text and files you ask DeepShell to work on. Selected content is sent through o10.io when a model call is needed to answer your request.
- Usage and diagnostics: coarse product analytics or crash diagnostics if enabled, used to keep the service reliable.
- Extension permissions data: only the browser data required for features you use (for example, the active tab URL or selected page content when you invoke an action). We do not collect browsing history in the background.
How we use data
- Provide DeepShell and o10.io routing you request
- Authenticate your account and secure the service
- Improve reliability and prevent abuse
- Respond to support requests
We do not sell personal data. We do not use personal data from the Chrome extension to show third-party ads.
Sharing and processors
Inference and account services may be provided via o10.io and its infrastructure / model providers under your o10.io plan. We share data only as needed to run the product, comply with law, or protect users and the service. See also o10.io privacy for platform-level details.
Storage and security
Files you export remain where you save them. Data transmitted to o10.io or model providers is sent over HTTPS or equivalent secure channels. Access to production systems is restricted.
Retention and your choices
Account data is retained while your account is active and as required for legal or security reasons. You may:
- Deny site access or stop a run in the Chrome side panel
- Revoke extension permissions in Chrome settings
- Email ask@o10.io to request access, correction, or deletion of account-held personal data
Children
DeepShell is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy as products change. The effective date at the top will be revised when we do. Material changes for the Chrome extension will be reflected at this same URL: https://www.deepshell.ai/privacy.
