Terms of Use

Effective 26 July 2026. These terms govern your use of DeepShell products by o10.io (owned by Towards AGI), primarily DeepShell for Chrome.

Agreement

By downloading, installing, or using DeepShell, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you use DeepShell for an organisation, you represent that you have authority to accept these terms for that organisation.

The product

DeepShell for Chrome is an AI side panel that helps you work with the browser tabs and documents you explicitly select — compare, extract, summarise, draft, and export — with visible steps and a cost receipt on each run. Tasks may use inference routed through your o10.io account. Features marked beta may change or be withdrawn. A desktop app is not required for current use and is not what these marketing pages launch.

Accounts

Some features require an o10.io account. You are responsible for account credentials and for activity under your account. Paid usage is governed by o10.io pricing and billing terms.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use DeepShell to:

  • Violate law or others' rights
  • Bypass security or access systems without authorisation
  • Distribute malware or abusive automation
  • Misrepresent DeepShell's actions as unaudited

Your responsibility for actions

DeepShell shows actions for approval. You are responsible for reviewing and approving what runs on your machine and for outcomes of approved actions.

Intellectual property

DeepShell, branding, and related materials are owned by o10.io (owned by Towards AGI) or its licensors. OpenShell upstream components remain under their respective licenses. You receive a limited, revocable license to use DeepShell as provided.

Disclaimer and liability

DeepShell is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. o10.io is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of DeepShell. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for DeepShell-related services in the 3 months before the claim (or £0 if you paid nothing).

Termination

You may stop using DeepShell at any time. We may suspend or end access for misuse, risk, or non-payment of related o10.io services.
